Prayer Word of the Week: Testimony
Evidence in support of a fact or statement; open declaration or profession, as of faith.

Our prayer word for this week is testimony. For Christians, testimonies can often be shared with the primary focus being on the person sharing, the details of his/her story that led to faith in Christ, while focusing little on the powerful, redemptive and finished work of Christ's life and death on the cross. I am definitely guilty of this throughout my life. Our prayer is that through GiG, there will be many opportunities to discuss the details of how Christ has brought us to Himself, while always fixing our eyes on His plan of salvation, His movement towards His people, and His active and sacrificial love of and for us - all for the glory of God alone.
