Visual

When we think about vision, we often only think about acuity or the ability to see clearly (20/20).  BUT there is much more that goes into our sight.  First we have to be able to move our eyes in a coordinated way, which is referred to as ocular motor.  Then our brain needs to understand and process what you are seeing, also known as visual perception.  Finally we use this visual information to make a motor movement, also referred to as visual motor or eye hand coordination skills.  So most of the activities today will teach you about these three areas of our vision.  It’s important to know that all of these three areas are VERY important for academic success.
